Introduction
            Fire. Smoke. Pot. Cigarette. Alcohol.
            Theses things keep my mind on track. Otherwise the monsters come back. They come back and try to take me. No, they’ll never take me alive. I gotta do what it takes to survive. ’Cause I’m still here, baby, I’m still here.

            The room was spinning, laughter filling my ears, making them hurt. It was too loud. The music, the talking, especially the laughing. Laughing is always too loud for me. It hurts my ears, especially their laughter. I fear their laughter.
They’re coming back. I know it. I can feel their presence. It’s getting closer, and closer, and closer. They’re here. All of them. They’re here to take me. Make me like them, but I’ll never be like them. Never.
"Frank!" They called.
I didn’t answer them. If I did, they would get me. They always did. But I don’t answer them anymore. Not after what happened.
"Frank!" Their voice seemed different this time. Totally different. Not the one I knew.
"Hey! Frank! We gotta get out of here!" The voice whispered loudly.
I looked around. This boy, maybe a few years older than me, with jet-black hair and gorgeous brown eyes was tugging on my arm.
"Wha-? Who are you?" I tried to ask, but I could feel it was just a slur of words.
"Come on, man," he said. He lifted me up, slung my arm over his shoulder, and we started walking out of the room.
He helped me outside and that’s when I noticed the sirens.
Garret’s party must’ve gotten busted. But the monsters went away. And this guy was helping me out. And this guy smelled nice. And this guy was taking me to a car. And this guy was helping me in, whispering things I couldn’t understand. And this guy drove me somewhere.
           And the monsters didn’t come back until he left me.
